Here is a great activity where the kids sort the hot dog sentence cards to the correct punctuation
picture cards. There is a recording sheet to record their answers a cut an paste activity, writing, cut and paste, and several skills printables. Click here to download.
Here are punctuation posters that we created during our mini lesson earlier in the year. They are really big and hang on the wall. They are filled with question words and exclamation words. The kids can use them all through the year during DOL and to reference while writing!

Love the punctuation posters. I will have to copy these next year. :) Thanks for the idea.

No problem! They really help and the kids actually use them during writing without me telling them to!

I love the cut and paste activities you offer…I have taught intermediate students for the last 8 years….you would be surprised how many of them can not cut out things and don’t know how much glue to use….I will be moving back to primary (2nd grade, specifically) and this is one of my goals.

I love your cut and paste freebies- thanks so much for sharing! Just a little FYI that you have one of the sentences listed twice (the pizza is good). It’s not a big problem by any means but I figured I would want someone to tell me if they noticed a little error in one of my products. :)
