Story Elements Writing Center

This is the best writing center ever and much needed in my classroom! I can't wait to use it because you could use it every single week in the writing center and just change out the cards that the students select or select a set for them! EASY! There are 4 anchor charts describe characters, setting, problem and solution with pictures and examples. 33 character cards, 39 setting cards, make your own solution cards, and 30 problem cards. Students are to pull one of each and place them under the header cards. Then write their own solution on the provided cards. Next the students write their own story and illustrate. There are even teacher and student directions included so this center is totally independent. All categories are color coded so the student knows which category is which and it is explained with pictures for those early readers! There are over 1,000 different story combinations to write from these cards thats like 5 school years worth of writing if you did it everyday!  They should never write the same story twice! lol
