We are still working on shapes next week and I love teaching it! There are so many things you can do with shapes and here are just a few activities! This pack focuses on direction vocabulary, shape identification and overlapping shapes. There are shape anchor charts, word wall cards, direction matching cards, a venn diagram to compare shapes and much more!
And of course here is a freebie for you! We did this in class to practice overlapping shapes and the kids loved it!!
I projected it on my smart board and had a helper walk us through it together so that they would understand how to look for those overlapping shapes, This is always a hard concept for them to understand. The used tally marks to keep track of how many we counted!
