What we are working on this week!

We are working on consonant digraphs this week and created some spider graphic organizers! The kids loved this activity and had a ball doing it! We glued on the legs, used glitter for the eyes and hung them with white yarn from the ceiling!

We are also still working on clouds. I saw the cutest pin on pinterest from the Inspired Apple and decided to make an activity for my kids! The little clouds have legs to help them remember which clouds are the tallest and shortest! Love it!

We added cotton to them to make them look like real clouds. The kids had so much fun with this activity at the end of the day they were not ready to go home! lol It was a success and they learned the 4 types of clouds! :)

Who does not like to work with sequin?? This quick and easy activity was a favorite also! We made tens with our popsicle sticks and the made "ones" with single pieces of sequin. download this cute activity I whipped up for free here. Enjoy!

  3. love the spiders! Did you brainstorm words first or did they independently come up with them?

  4. Thanks! We discussed and made a chart of ch,sh,wh, and th words. Then the students used those and some that they made up or found in the dictionary.
