Interactive Notebooks

I hope everyone has been busy working away in their classrooms! It is the busiest time of year for me and every other teacher on earth! LOL I just wanted to update you guys on a few things in the midst of your busy  back to school time. I recently partnered with Pinterest to help manage one of their boards on their new Pinterest Teacher hub. You can find everything you need all in one place! Be sure to check out this article about it here. You can find those awesome teacher boards here. I also just started on Bloglovin. Follow my blog with Bloglovin.

Next, I have been so busy this summer updating a lot of my products so if you have received notifications go download all of the extra goodies you have! One of my favorites that I updated was my Interactive Math Notebook  and Problem Solving Pack.  It is now common core aligned to 1st and 2nd grade! I have so many teachers that purchase from me that want both grade levels because students are on so many different levels. A lot of 1st and 2nd common core overlap, so instead of making 2 separate packs I combined it into one! If you teach 1st it is great because you can teach on grade level and accelerate some of your students and if you teach 2nd you can teach on grade level and help some of your lower kiddos.

Some of the topics covered in the math pack are:

And next after so many requests,I finished the Language Arts Interactive Notebooks for 1st and 2nd grade! I love interactive notebooks because they keep the kids engaged and working.
My students loved them and I used them everyday. You can use them in small group or whole group. You can even put them in centers or work stations.
Most of my students were ESOL so this really helped to send home and also use as a study guide before tests. It helped parents know what we were doing in the classroom and it helped them learn how to help their kids at home. I even found my kids getting these out of their desks and referring back to them at random times through the day when working on other work. It is a great way to keep them
organized. Some of the Language Arts topics covered are
adjectives
verbs
nouns
problem/solution
cause/effect
inferencing
abc order
homophones
antonyms
synonyms
periods
exclamation marks
question marks
beginning sounds
ending sounds\blends
