Sight Word Interactive Notebook

I wanted to share with you an excellent resource that I use with my Kinders and 1st graders. Sight words are so important to learn early on. My kids get 2 words per week to learn. Repetition is the best way to learn them. I have them write them, read them, color them, etc. So I combined them into an interactive notebook. My students love it and it also serves as a great study guide for parents to use at home. Parents know exactly which words we are working on and what words we have already done. They can practice them over and over again. Be sure to stop by and check out this amazing resource! For each sight word you can write it, color it, read it, build it, add it, find it, pyramid write and rainbow right. Plus there are areas for extra writing practice! This product is on sale for 24 hours only! Get it here! Enjoy!

Wow, I love this, but i have a silly question. Do you assemble their notebooks ahead of time or do they cut everything out and glue it in. I teach half day Kindergarten and I’m not sure if I’d have the time to have them cut and glue all those pieces.

Where can I find these? Are they at TPT?

What font do you use for the “write it” section? I’m trying to get the lines as well as tracing letters like you have on the originals!

I recently pinned your ‘Sight Words are so Important’ page, and I have been getting so many notifications of people repinning it from my page. It is quite amazing. (And that is just from my feed.) Clearly you have a very inspiring website. Thanks for sharing!
